The Nebraska Judicial Branch was recognized for its implementation of a Judge E-Signature solution, which allows state judges the ability to access, review, edit, and sign documents within one web application. This project saves 4300 hours a year of judges' time.

In 2024, Nebraska citizens saved time like never before—bringing the total to over 86 million hours saved since 2019 thanks to Tyler Nebraska’s digital services. From transitioning hundreds of paper-based forms to online workflows to enabling real-time approvals and payments, the state made digital government more efficient than ever. With 279 projects completed, $14.2M in cost avoidance in 2024 alone, and nearly 1.7 million page views on the state portal, Nebraska is proving that smarter technology leads to real-world impact—saving time, reducing costs, and making everyday tasks easier for everyone.

DMV AI Resident Assistant

Coming soon: Nebraska residents will have a smarter, faster way to get DMV help. The new DMV Resident Assistant, powered by AI, will guide users to the info they need—no more clicking through confusing pages or waiting on hold. Whether it's renewing a license or checking requirements, answers will be just a question away. Best of all, this upgrade comes at no cost to the state, funded through transactional dollars via the Nebraska State Records Board. It’s another step forward in making government more accessible, efficient, and user-friendly for all Nebraskans.
