Corporation images are copies of filings on record in the Secretary of State's office and may be available to purchase online for $0.45 per page.

Non-subscribers pay by credit card at check out. If an image is available for purchase and printing from your computer desktop the document listed will contain a fee and page count under the "Price" column. Once payment has cleared you will receive an email with a link to view and print requested documents.

For Nebraska.gov subscribers, the "purchase now" button is the link to open and view the document, which may then be printed. Your account will be billed for the documents you view.

You may contact the business services division at 402-471-4079 if no fee and no page count are displayed for the image, as it may be unavailable online for one of the following reasons:

• All documents filed after March 10, 1999 are typically available online within 3 business days.
• Documents filed prior to March 10, 1999 will generally not be available online and may be obtained directly from our office. We are in the process of making these available online.
• Documents longer than 40 pages are not available online due to system traffic considerations.

The Online Certificate of Good Standing is an electronically generated document and is immediately available for viewing/printing from your desktop. It contains the State Seal and the signature of the Secretary of State. The authenticity of the Certificate of Good Standing purchased online can be validated for up to 12 months by a third party (banker, lender, etc.) through accessing the Secretary of State's website and entering the verification ID contained in the Certificate. The fee is $6.50 and will be charged to your credit card or Nebraska.gov account. No fee is required for validation.

The Certificate of Good Standing is a physical paper document and sent to you from the Secretary of State's office through the United States Postal Service within 2-3 business days of the placement of your online order. It contains the State Seal and signature of the Secretary of State. The fee is $10.00 which will be charged to your credit card or Nebraska.gov account.

If you need your Certificate of Good Standing Apostilled or Authenticated for use in another country, you must contact the Nebraska Secretary of State's office by email at sos.corp@nebraska.gov or by calling (402) 471-4079 for information and instructions. Documents obtained online cannot be Apostilled or Authenticated.

• Starts With: Returns names that start with the words or letters entered into the search system. You must enter at least three letters into the system.
• Keyword (Match All): Returns names that contain all of the keywords entered into the search system, regardless of the order they are entered into the search system. Results are returned in alphabetical order. You must enter at least three letters into the system.
• Keyword (Match Any): Returns names that contain any of the keywords entered into the search system, regardless of the order they are entered into the search system. For example, a search of the name "Jody's Repair Shop" would return any names containing the words, "Jody's" or "Repair" or "Shop." Results are returned in alphabetical order. You must enter at least three letters into the system.
• Sounds Like: Returns names that sound like the name entered into the search system. This search is very broad and may return a large number of results. You must enter at least three letters into the system.
• Exact Match: When using this search you must enter the full entity name, including any corporate endings. Search only returns names that are an exact match to the name searched. If you do not know the exact or full name, use the "Keyword" or "Starts With" searches. You must enter at least three letters into the system.
• Account Number: Refers to the Secretary of State Entity Account Number.
• Sorting Your Search Results: Search results may be sorted in the Primary Sort selection box by selecting the Type of Business or Status. Additionally, you may add a Secondary Sort, to update your results to sort by both Type and Status. Search results always display in alphabetical order.
