The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on proposed changes to Title 185, Chapter 1 of the Nebraska Administrative Code (NAC) – Statewide Trauma System. The proposed changes update the regulations scope and authority; update definitions; modify on-site review requirements; remove requirements for creating and maintaining regional plans; reorganize trauma centers criteria chart; clarify language; remove unnecessary language; update section headings; correct grammar, typographical errors, and punctuation; renumber and restructure the regulatory chapter.
Authority for these regulations is found in Neb. Rev. Stat. § 81-3117(7), and § 71-8239.
