The Nebraska Children’s Commission has scheduled a meeting for 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Central) on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Child Advocacy Center, Gary Lacey Training Building, 5025 Garland Street, Lincoln, NE. The proposed agenda will be available for inspection online and at the office of the Nebraska Children’s Commission five business prior to the meeting. The agenda will include appointment of members to the Normalcy Task Force, a panel on Education and how it relates to child welfare and juvenile justice, a presentation on the Community & Evidence Based Services Grant, an update of the Behavioral Health System of Care, a Probation update and presentation on their pilot project, and reports from various subgroups of the Commission including Psychotropic Medications Committee, Workforce Workgroup, Legal Parties Taskforce, and the Juvenile Services Committee.
