The NDOL will receive testimony and evidence concerning the adoption of proposed amendments:
- 219 NAC 2 – Claims for Benefits
- 219 NAC 4 – Claimant’s Availability / Work Search Requirements
- 219 NAC 17 – Profiling
- 225 NAC 1 – Approval of Training Programs.
219 NAC 2 proposed amendments require claimants to file his or her initial application for unemployment benefits online unless the claim concerns military or federal government wages, combined wages from other states, or a special accommodation is required. The registration and resume requirements are amended and will apply to all claimants.
219 NAC 4 proposed amendments amend the requirements to be considered available for work. As part of being available, claimants must be registered for and search for work. The requirements for benefit eligibility for registration for work and work search are changed.
219 NAC 17 proposed amendments make technical language changes and removes language regarding claimants not referred for reemployment services.
225 NAC 1 proposed amendments make technical language changes and updates references.
