How Can You Help?
The World Day on the Mall event continues to be a successful culmination of the efforts of many people.
We continue to expand World Day. Each year, we incorporate new events, including educational presentations that help to enhance an already solid program.
The World Day on the Mall planning committee is seeking volunteers to help with this year's efforts.
Our sub-committee openings are in the following areas:
- Community Outreach
- Electronic Media
- Vendor arrangement (food and information)
If you would like to volunteer, please contact Charles Roberson, WDM Chairperson, at 402-471-3678 or complete and submit the Volunteer Packet.

what is World Day on the Mall?
Through a partnership with State Government and Agencies, and local businesses, we celebrate the diversity of cultures in Nebraska and honor the daily contributions of State employees.
World Day on the Mall is an opportunity to share, experience, and value other cultures in our community through ethnic food, music, entertainment, and information about our global society.
World Day on the Mall works because of people like YOU!
Our Mission is to increase awareness, understanding, and appreciation of individuals of all cultures, and the global issues that unite us. We also strive to honor the diversity and talent of State employees and show how those talents are used to assist the citizens of the State of Nebraska each and every day.
