World Day on the Mall works because of people like you!

what is World Day on the Mall?

Through a partnership with State Government and Agencies, and local businesses, we celebrate the diversity of cultures in Nebraska and honor the daily contributions of State employees.

World Day on the Mall is an opportunity to share, experience, and value other cultures in our community through ethnic food, music, entertainment, and information about our global society.

Our mission is to increase awareness, understanding, and cultural appreciation of individuals.

We're looking for volunteers...How Can You Help?

The World Day on the Mall event continues to be a successful culmination of the efforts of many people.

We continue to expand World Day. Each year, we incorporate new events, including educational presentations that help to enhance an already solid program.

The World Day on the Mall planning committee is seeking volunteers to help with this year's efforts.

Our sub-committee openings are in the following areas:

If you have an interest in any of these areas and would like more information, or would like to volunteer, please contact Charles Roberson at 402-471-3678 or Roxanne Rediger at 402-471-6042.
