A lifelong Nebraskan, Deb Fischer was elected to the United States Senate in 2012. Senator Fischer has earned a reputation as a "tenacious advocate" for lower taxes, reduced government spending, and a balanced budget. She is committed to working with Republicans and Democrats alike to advance sensible policies that will grow the economy and promote strong Nebraska families and communities.

Senator Fischer arrived in Washington as an expert on a range of issues, from education policy to complex telecommunications matters. She was elected to the Valentine Rural High School Board of Education, became President of the Nebraska Association of School Boards, and served as a Commissioner on the Coordinating Commission for Post-Secondary Education.

Senator Pete Ricketts

Senator Pete Ricketts was sworn in as Nebraska’s U.S. Senator on January 23, 2023.

Born in Nebraska City and raised in Omaha, Ricketts is the son of an entrepreneur and a school teacher. Senator Ricketts and his wife, Susanne Shore, have been married for 26 years and live in Omaha. They have three children: Roscoe, Margot, and Eleanor.

Ricketts graduated from Westside High School before attending the University of Chicago where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and an M.B.A. in marketing and finance. After graduate school, Ricketts returned to Omaha and worked for Union Pacific before working as a customer services representative in his family’s business, a company that would eventually become known as Ameritrade. He went on to hold leadership roles in the company including Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, Senior Vice President of Product Development, Senior Vice President of Marketing, President, and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Mike Flood has dedicated his life to advancing conservative values, growing Nebraska's rural communities, and creating jobs.

Raised in Norfolk, Mike started working in radio in high school, a passion that continued throughout his time in college at Notre Dame and law school at the University of Nebraska. In 1999, he founded Flood Communications and grew the company from one Norfolk radio station, US92, into a statewide network of fifteen radio stations and five TV stations. News Channel Nebraska and Flood Communications radio stations deliver content important to rural communities, including local news and weather, high school sports, morning mass, and local entertainment. Mike has created hundreds of Nebraska jobs.

Congressman Don Bacon - 2nd District

Congressman Don Bacon

Raised on a farm in the Midwest, Don Bacon learned the value of hard work and the importance of fiscal responsibility. Don worked his way through college and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Political Science Degree in 1984. He also married his college sweetheart, Angie, in 1984. They subsequently had three sons and one daughter. He later earned Master’s Degrees from University of Phoenix and National War College.

Wanting to serve his country, Don joined the Air Force in 1985 and served for 29.5 years, retiring as a Brigadier General. He served in the intelligence, electronic warfare, reconnaissance and public affairs career fields and had 16 assignments all over the world.
